Titanium
“You can’t have your cake and eat it too”, with MAD In Italy it’s possible.
And no, not in the literal sense. We’re talking about our titanium frames: the perfect solution for those seeking frames that are both incredibly durable and extremely lightweight.
But let’s get into details.
Let’s start with the front, which is made from a monobloc devoid of welds, a key feature that ensures solidity and long-lasting durability. It also provides a much cleaner aesthetic.
Joining the front are the temples, made of beta- titanium to ensure maximum flexibility and comfort, further reducing the overall weight of the frame.
As for the hinges, the solution we propose is the result of our own, very personal intuition—and one that we’re really proud of. It’s a very thin “C”-shaped component inserted between the front and the temple, allowing all the moving parts of the frame, except the rim lock, to be completely free of welds.
Lastly, the adjustable pantoscopic angle—a small but significant detail that allows the optician to adjust the angle with a simple plier with rubber tips, ensuring a frame that fits perfectly to the natural shape of each individual—practically a tailor-made pair of glasses without compromise.
